helping you rebuild self-trust, boundaries, and inner-safety

Compassionate Trauma Therapy for Women in Nevada

You’ve carried more than most people know.

Two things can be true at once:

You survived. and you’re still hurting.

From complex trauma and abuse to chronic or medical illness, you may have had to be strong for a long time. On the outside, you might appear high-functioning. On the inside, you may feel overwhelmed, exhausted, or unsure of your own instincts.

Many people who reach out for therapy worry that what they experienced “wasn’t bad enough” to deserve support — or that the emotional impact of chronic illness isn’t something others will understand. If it affects you, it matters.

Others worry their experiences will be seen as “too much.” You are not too much. You may simply not have had a space that could hold your experiences with the compassion and care you deserve.

You don’t have to have everything figured out before starting therapy. Feeling overwhelmed, confused, or unsure where to begin is completely okay.

Our first conversation is simply a chance to talk and see if working together feels like the right fit. There’s no pressure and no obligation.

Sound like you?

Chronically anxious or emotionally overwhelmed

Disconnected from your body or emotions

Exhausted from constantly monitoring other people’s reactions

Afraid to set boundaries or speak up for yourself

Stuck in patterns of people-pleasing or self-blame

Unable to fully relax or feel safe

Here’s what we’ll do together

Therapy can help you reconnect with yourself, rebuild trust in your instincts, and move forward with greater clarity and stability.

  • Therapy can help you better understand your emotions, rebuild trust in yourself, and develop tools to navigate life with greater clarity and stability. Many clients find they are better able to regulate their emotions, set healthier boundaries, and feel more grounded in their relationships and decisions.

  • For many people who have lived through complex trauma or chronic stress, it can feel hard to trust your instincts, set boundaries, or feel at ease in your own body.

  • Through therapy, we work together to explore those experiences in a safe and supportive space while building tools that help you regulate your nervous system, communicate more clearly, and reconnect with your inner sense of knowing.

  • Over time, many clients begin to feel more grounded, more confident in their decisions, and better able to navigate relationships and life challenges. Therapy is not about “fixing” you, but about helping you understand yourself more fully and develop the skills and support needed to move forward with greater clarity and stability.

At the end of the day, I want you to know:

  • Past experiences don’t have to continue holding you back.

  • You are stronger than the patterns those experiences created.

  • In our work together, we will move at a pace that feels safe and manageable while building on the strenths you already carry.

Therapy is a collaborative process where we work to understand the impact of past experiences, develop tools that support emotional stability, and help you reconnect with your own sense of clarity and inner trust. Over time, many clients begin to feel more grounded, more confident in their instincts, and better equipped to move forward in their lives and relationships.

FAQs

  • A Clinical Professional Counselor Intern is a licensed professional who has completed their Master’s degree and is working toward full licensure through supervised clinical experience. This process includes completing 3,000 hours of supervised practice and passing a national board exam. I have already passed my national board exam and am currently completing the required supervised hours toward full licensure.

  • I currently offer private-pay therapy and am not in-network with insurance providers. Private pay allows greater privacy and flexibility, as insurance companies generally require a mental health diagnosis and may limit aspects of care. I also maintain a limited number of sliding-scale openings for clients who may need some financial flexibility.

If you have questions about fees or payment options, you’re always welcome to ask during your consultation so we can determine whether therapy feels workable for you.

  • Currently, I offer therapy through telehealth sessions only. Many clients appreciate the ability to attend therapy from the comfort of their own home while still engaging in meaningful trauma-focused work. Modalities such as EMDR and Parts & Memory Therapy can still be conducted effectively through secure, HIPAA-protected video sessions.

  • In the beginning, we focus on understanding what has brought you to therapy and identifying the goals that feel most important to you. I typically recommend meeting once per week during the first few months so we can build consistency and momentum in the work. After that, we can reassess together and adjust the frequency of sessions based on your needs.

  • The first session is an intake session, where we take time to talk about what has brought you to therapy and what you hope to gain from the process. I will ask a number of questions so we can understand your experiences and begin identifying goals for treatment. This helps us decide together where it makes the most sense to start. In the sessions that follow, we move into more typical therapy work, focusing on processing experiences and developing coping tools and strategies.

You are always welcome to share only what feels comfortable for you, and we will move at a pace that feels safe and manageable.
